The selfCheck™ 1070 is a freestanding kiosk in the 1000 series with an L-shaped EM unlocker in addition to the RFID and optical (barcode) readers. Patrons scan their card to access their account, and from there they can borrow, return and renew items, view fines, and see their loans holds, and reservations.

 

Payment hardware can be added, allowing the kiosk to accept cash and/or card payment.

 

Libraries can customise the interface software to disable certain functions and to appear in selected colours and styles.
